Did you know that Farm Management Grants are now available to assist eligible primary producers and their relatives offset the costs of professional advice associated with succession planning including the preparation of wills?

Rebates of up to 50% of the amount paid for professional advice about estate planning, to a maximum of $2,500 for each financial year of the scheme, are available.
This means that you, and each of your family members, could obtain a maximum of $2,500 each towards professional legal advice.
Succession and estate planning in a family farming business requires careful and deliberate planning. Obtaining advice about wills, enduring powers of attorney, superannuation binding death benefit nominations and property transfers are just some of the areas that could be covered as part of your succession plan.
